Blick Art Materials

We went to Blick in Iowa City to pick up supplies for my daughter’s college drawing class. The guy helping us went quickly through the long list and found everything in a few minutes. Great experience.

I went for my first visit the other day as I want to get back into learning to draw. The two assistant managers working were super helpful! I'll definitely keep going back for the selection they have and the friendliness and helpfulness of their staff!

I recently had a custom mat made at Blick’s for a print that I had purchased. We discussed the look I wanted to achieve and they gave me advice about what would work best. I could not be happier with the results! The customer service is amazing and I feel fortunate to have their advice and expertise available locally, as well as a wide range of art supplies. Thank you to the great team at Blick's who worked on my project! This is definitely my go to shop for anything related to art.

Is it just me or are there online prices better? I try to find an excuse to visit this wonderful art supply store whenever I can. They have everything I need for art supplies from specialty paper, paint of almost every kind, markers, pencils, drafting tools, art books, custom framing. Their prices are competitive with other places I shop online but being able to see the products in person is worth the drive for me. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and for people waiting to explore new things this is very important.
